The Spanish verb aprender  means to learn. It is a regular -er  verb and follows the same conjugation pattern of other regular -er  verbs, like beber  and barrer.  This article includes the conjugations of aprender  in the present, past, conditional, and future indicative, the present and past subjunctive, the imperative mood, and other verb forms. Using the Verb Aprender The verb aprender  means to learn. For example, you can talk about learning a language —aprender un idioma—,  or about learning to drive —aprender a conducir. However, aprender  can also  mean to learn by heart or to memorize. Aprender Preterite  Indicative The preterite indicative tense can be translated as the simple past in English. Aprender Conditional  Indicative To conjugate the conditional indicative tense, start  with the infinitive of the verb and add the conditional ending (à ­a, à ­as, à ­a, à ­amos, à ­ais, à ­an).
